It’s been a few months since my last post, and I wanted to share a quick update on why things have been a bit quieter here. When I first started this blog, I was recovering from an operation and spending a lot of time off the course, which made writing feel easy and natural. Since then, life has thrown a few bigger challenges my way. I’ve been going through some fairly aggressive treatment over the last few months, and to be honest, I simply haven’t had the capacity to write consistently.

The good news is things are moving in the right direction. I’m now back in the office part-time and easing myself back into golf. I’ve managed a couple of 9-hole rounds and a few range sessions, and while my strength and stamina have taken a hit, it feels great just to be swinging a club again. My swing is much slower at the moment, but it’s all part of building myself back up.

Despite everything, I actually hit my 2025 handicap goal early, which has given me a big boost heading into the new season. The aim now is to push for single figures and play more opens next year once the fitness returns.

Looking ahead, I’m planning to post more regularly while I’m still in recovery. The focus won’t change: honest reviews, real experiences, and no fluff. I’ve still got a list of products waiting to be covered.

Thanks to the readers I’ve had on these posts so far, I hope you’ve found some value in them. More to come soon…!
